One of the early innovators of rock-and-roll photography, Guy Webster has produced work spanning the worlds of music, film and politics across a remarkable 50-year career. He shot countless iconic album cover from the 60s and 70s. These include covers for releases by the Rolling Stones, Mamas and the Papas, Beach Boys, Byrds, Doors, Simon & Garfunkel, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and Willie Nelson.
Guy photographed such film legends as Rita Hayworth, Dean Martin and Natalie Wood and countless luminaries and celebrities including Barbra Streisand, Igor Stravinski, Jack Nicholson, Candace Bergen, Allen Ginsburg and Truman Capote. He is a primary celebrity photographer for hundreds of worldwide magazines, and his presidential subjects have included Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton.
Guy continues to work in his studio in Venice, California, while pursuing his passion for collecting rare vintage Italian racing motorcycles.
