Bobby Bank, “Photographer of the Superstars,” has been shooting for more than 30 years. Bobby began his career as a photojournalist after graduating from Hunter College in New York. He has since captured unique vantage points from the photographer’s pit, backstage, recording studios, on location at movie sets, and on the streets of Manhattan.
Highlights of Bobby’s work include Frank Sinatra in the recording studio, New York-born stars Bette Midler, Barry Manilow and Neil Diamond, as well as Bob Marley, Rick Springfield, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. He has also photographed casts from popular movies and television shows including the “Sopranos”, “Sex and the City”, “Boardwalk Empire”, “Celebrity Apprentice” and “Law & Order.”
Bobby’s work appears regularly in international publications such as People, OK, US, regional newspapers and online entertainment sites including TMZ, Oprah and Ellen. His collections have been featured in several gallery shows, including a Frank Sinatra recording studio retrospective at Patsy’s, one of Sinatra’s favorite restaurants in New York. His photos have appeared on album/CD/DVD covers and on posters. Bobby continues to photograph the entertainment scene in the New York area on a regular basis.
